Warning regarding Cast Iron Patio Heaters
Cast Iron and Cast Aluminium patio heaters are very effective for outdoors heating, however they get very hot to touch. Children, pets etc. must be supervised at all times when the cast iron or cast aluminium patio heaters are in use. For Outdoors recommend using the Chiminea Guard. Also due to the very effective heat output, care must be taken to site these patio heaters away from combustible materials. If placed on wooden decking please make sure it is stood on a non combustible material and not placed directly on the wooden deck.
Paint
Although these cast iron chimineas are painted, the cast iron will in time rust. Many people find this desirable as it adds to the rustic appeal, however it is possible to re-paint them with the original StoveBright high temperature paint.
