Making a Purchase:
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us on 01344 750788 and we will be happy to correct the mistake for you.

You will then be taken to our secure payment facility which is run by our third party partner - Sage Pay

If you do not wish to pay online over the internet (Please see Credit Debit Card Security), you may prefer to get us to call you so that you can give us your card information over the phone. If so then please indicate in the relevant box when completing your checkout.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be shipped. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped unless we are asked to do so by you the customer.

When you place an order over the Internet you will receive an Auto Generated System email confirming your order has been received by the For Outdoors system. This does not indicate that a contract exists between For Outdoors and you (the customer). Once your order has been received by one of our customer services team and everything has been checked, you will again receive an email from us indicating that your order has been accepted and that your order is being processed. As part of this email you will find all the details relating to your order including pricing etc in the form of an invoice / receipt. Please keep this email for future reference as proof of purchase in case of any future problems.

Whilst every effort has been made in the information and cost of every product, we reserve the right to cancel an order or change a price. Of course none of this will be done without contacting you the customer first. We have included this term to protect us in the case a genuine mistake has been made in our pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Payment, Prices and Availability:
All Orders must be paid for in full before goods are dispatched.

We do not offer either credit or extended payment terms.

We currently accept payment by most major credit cards including Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, UK Maestro and PayPal. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express or Diners card.

Orders placed by post and paid for by cheque will have the order held until the cheque has cleared.

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate and FREE UK Mainland Delivery (except to Scottish Highlands and Islands). Unfortunately there will be an additional charge for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, other Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly along with any orders shipped to Europe. When this occurs we will contact you first to agree the additional charges before processing your order.

There are no other hidden charges.

All orders are subject to availability. You will be informed by e-mail or telephone if any item ordered is not in stock or subject to a delay of more than three days.

VAT Charges:
Our VAT number is 821 6384 36.

Orders made from the UK or the European Union include VAT at the prevailing rate

All other orders made from outside of the European Union are VAT free.

Shipping:
All Orders that are placed between Monday - Friday will be processed and shipped at the earliest opportunity. If possible this will be on the same day as the order is received depending on what time the order is received.

Orders that are received on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays will be processed and shipped at the earliest opportunity.

Deliveries:
We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible. The actual time taken for delivery varies from both supplier to supplier and carrier to carrier but generally your goods will be delivered within 3 - 5 working days.

Delivery normally takes place Monday to Friday between 08:00 am and 17:30 pm

Any contact telephone numbers that have been entered in the order process, will be passed to our delivery people in case of any difficulties when making a delivery. Please be assured that this information is not passed to any other people or company.

All deliveries will have to be signed for at the delivery address, however we understand that this is not always possible and in certain circumstances it is possible, with prior arrangement, to have goods left safely whereby the carrier will accept a sign note left on your front door specifying where the carrier can leave the goods safe.

The delivery drivers are responsible for delivering to your front door and WILL NOT under any circumstances assist with any assembly or placement of goods.

Once goods have either been delivered to you or have been left safe upon the collection of a signed note, the responsibility of the goods then falls on you the customer. Any loss or damage to goods after this time shall be at your own risk.

Should delivery be refused at the delivery address and then requested to be delivered at a later date, then For Outdoors reserve the right to make a charge for the second delivery.

It is the responsibility of the person receiving the goods to check that all packages are counted for and checked for damage before signing. If any packaging appears damaged, please check that the contents are intact and then note the damage on the delivery note before signing.

Back Orders:
If your item is not in stock, we will place your order on back order. Back ordered items are not charged for until they are shipped - unless payment has been received in full over the website.

You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit/Debit Card Security:
When you order from For Outdoors, you can do so in the knowledge that your transaction is being completed totally securely.

Your card details are processed safely and securely through our third party card processing company Sage Pay using secure servers and 128-bit high level encryption ensuring that the only details that we see are your address and delivery details. At no time are your card details shown or stored by us.

The same applies if you prefer to order over the telephone where your card details are remotely processed safely and securely through our third party card processing company Sage Pay using secure servers and 128-bit high level encryption. Once your order has been processed on our system, your card details are again encrypted to ensure complete safety is maintained.

At no time are your card details shown or stored by us.

All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble money back guarantee. So if for some reason you are not completely 100% satisfied with your purchase then please let us know and we will offer you a full refund subject to our returns policy.

Privacy Policy:
For Outdoors do not disclose buyers' information to third parties unless required to do so by law or other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this website site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.

They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

For Outdoors do hold a mailing list of email address in order to advise customers of any promotions, new products or product recalls. You will be asked at the checkout process if you wish to be excluded from our mailing list. The maximum number of emails sent in any month will not exceed 3 and if you wish to unsubscribe at any time you can do by emailing sales@foroutdoors.co.uk with "Unsubscribe" in the title or by using our form on our "Contact us" page.

Please be assured that For Outdoors DO NOT under any circumstances pass on or sell any mailing lists to third parties.

Cancellation and Returns Policy:
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within14 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. You can do this by contacting us by email at: sales@foroutdoors.co.uk or telephone us on 01344 750788 and in either case quoting the order number supplied to you.

Any goods returned should be in a good and re-saleable condition. In other words the same condition as they were supplied to you.

Refunds to Credit / Debit cards will normally be refunded within 5 working days of our receipt of the returned goods. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to reach you card as this time frame is dependent on your card issuer.

Once a refund has been issued, an email will be sent to notify the customer of the refund.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or have been incorrectly described.

When ordering your goods, please make sure that you have chosen your goods correctly as mistakes (although we are happy to exchange or refund incorrectly ordered goods) will have to be returned at your cost. If for some reason when your goods arrive they are faulty, please contact us as in the Damages section, and a replacement will be arranged at the same time of collecting the faulty goods.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Damages:
It is the responsibility of the person receiving the goods to check that all packages are counted for and checked for damage before signing. If any packaging appears damaged, please check that the contents are intact and then note the damage on the delivery note before signing. FOR OUTDOORS will not be held responsible if any damage is reported to us after the delivery has been signed, and if the delivery note has no damages recorded on the delivery note.

Once the goods have been inspected and any damage identified, please notify our Customer Services dept of the damage by either telephone or email by sending your email and any photos you can to: sales@foroutdoors.co.uk

This MUST be done within 5 days of delivery otherwise FOR OUTDOORS will not be able to assist.

Statutory Rights:
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We are a UK based company and are subject to English Law.
