The Octa Jump range of trampolines are unlike any other trampoline on sale in the UK. It combines both the greater performance of a rectangular with the tradition features of a circular trampoline along with a pleasing eye design.

The bounce of the Octa Jump 13 ft Deluxe is superior to any circular trampoline due to its unique spring configuration and longer 9" springs. Unlike circular trampolines which pull the jumpers back into the centre where collisions can occur, the Octa Jump jumper will tend to land back where they have taken off from (See bottom of page - Octagonal v Round).

Among the benefits of the Octa Jump 13 ft Deluxe trampoline is the new, stronger weldless T-section construction that eliminates the risk of the frame breaking because of welded joints. Another benefit of this quality trampoline is the High Quality Deluxe Padding which is supplied with this trampoline. All Octa Jump Deluxe trampolines are supplied with a 40 mm rubber based padding, secured by Thick Elastic Straps which then pass through Strengthened Brass Eyelets. The trampoline straps are also fixed in place with toggles.

Some information on Octagonal v Round Trampolines


Octagonal Trampolines:
Octagonal Trampolines are much safer than the circular design. The springs on an Octagonal trampoline offset the centre because of the eight straight rails, so they end up criss-crossing each other to some extent. This results in less pressure behind you and you are less likely to be thrown forward off balance and into one another.

There also is more vertical travel in the mat because of eight straight sides. The reason for this is because the springs in the centre of the rails stretch more than the springs toward the end of the rails. This produces a softer, better and more controlled bounce then the round design.


Round Trampolines:
On round trampolines every spring points right into the centre and makes the centre of a trampoline soft. When you move out from the centre, the bounce gets harder behind you. If you lose your balance or concentration you may be thrown forward off balance.

ROSPA recongise that approx 50% of trampoline injuries occur when there is more than one person jumping on a round trampoline and therefore the risk of collision increases.
