Table Tennis Tables Information

Table Sizes:
All our tables are manufactured to the regulation size as approved by the ITTF and conform to EU safety regulations:
Length: 2.74 m (9' 0")
Width: 1.52 m (5' 0")
Height: 76 cms (2' 6")

Indoor Tables:
The materials used for indoor table tennis table are not weather resistant, but do produce an excellent bounce. These tables can be used in competition.

Outdoors Tables:
The difference between and the Outdoor and Indoor Table Tennis Tables is in the materials used. Outdoor tables are weather resistant i.e. sun, rain, snow and frost and therefore can be left outside. Overall they last longer as the materials used are very tough.

Playing Surface:
The bounce quality of a Table Tennis Table occurs according to the thickness of the playing surface. The thicker, denser and the harder the board is, the better the bounce.

Colour of Playing Surface:
Most tables are available in a choice of colours, either blue or green and the colour preference is very much up to your individual taste. Green is still the most popular colour, however blue does offer a better contrast. The choice of colour does not make any difference to the performance of the table.

Delivery:
Most of the popular models are kept in stock and can be delivered in 10 working days. We use a specialist carrier so that the tables don't get damaged in transit. You will be contacted a few days before to arrange a suitable delivery date.

Can I leave my table tennis table outside all year round:
If you have a Cornilleau or Supertramp Outdoor table then the answer is yes. All outdoor tables are resistant to sun, rain, snow and frost and can be left safely outside without any risk of deterioration. We do however recommend the use of a cover. The purpose of the cover is not to keep the table dry but to keep it clean so that it is always ready to play and for additional child safety. It will also extend the life of the table.

How do I decide if I need an indoor or outdoor table:
Indoor tables are not weather resistant but they provide an excellent bounce and are good value for money. However they must not be stored in damp conditions (such as a barn or garage) as exposure to moisture will cause the playing surface to crack. They will also warp if left outside in the sun for only a short period of time.
Outdoor tables are more shock resistant and can be safely stored outside all year making them more long lasting.
