Shade Structures OverviewOur range of shade structures are designed and manufactured in the UK out of the finest materials. We use a tensile fabric structure which utilizes the principles of dynamics and geometry to create light, strong canopies that are both practical and pleasing to the eye.
The fabrics, usually PVC/Polyester or PTFE/glass having been cut to predetermined shapes are welded or sewn together in panels to form a three-dimensional fabric form. This form is then tensioned over or within a frame and the canopy is created.
Canopy has a life expectancy of up to 15 years (25-30years for PTFE/glass) even in strong sunlight, wind, rain, ice or snow; the canopy shrugs off the elements with ease and remains elegant throughout its life.
The supporting framework, a combination of either powder coated steel, stainless steel or wood, depending on the design requirements, can, if necessary be dismantled during the winter months and easily re-installed in the spring, making it ideal for seasonal restaurants, bars or clubs.
