This page (together with our privacy policy) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the products (Products) listed on our website www.foroutdoors.co.uk (our site) to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from our site. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please click on the checkbox marked "I agree to the terms and conditions" during the check out process. Please note that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any Products from our site.

We operate the website www.foroutdoors.co.uk. We are For Outdoors Ltd t/a For Outdoors, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05750860 and working from our office at Unit 10, Gibbs Marsh Trading Estate, Stalbridge, Dorset , DT10 2RY. Our VAT number is GB821638436.

Please note: we are an internet based only company and we do not have any premises with displays or any brochures that we can send you.

How your order is formed between you and us

Making a purchase from For Outdoors could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order. If you prefer, you can also call us on 0800 246 5801 to place your order over the phone.

After placing an order, you will receive an auto-generated e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not yet mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail in the form of an invoice/receipt that confirms that your order has been accepted.

To change or cancel your order before receipt of the order confirmation

Conformity of the products

We guarantee to you that any Product purchased from us through For Outdoors will, on delivery, conform in all material respects with its description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for all the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products on this web site are correct. However, whilst the colour reproduction is an extremely close representation, a slight variation in the actual goods can occur.

Price and payment

Whilst every effort has been made in the information and cost of every product, we reserve the right to cancel an order or change a price. Of course, none of this will be done without contacting you, the customer first. We have included this term to protect us in the case a genuine mistake has been made in our pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All orders must be paid for in full before goods are despatched. We do not offer either credit or extended payment terms. There are no other hidden charges.

Please note that the Title of Goods does not transfer to you until an invoice has been paid and that the property, goods and title remain that of For Outdoors until paid in full.

The transaction will show on your statement as 'For Outdoors Ltd'.

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.

To pay for your order

Payment for all Products can be made by credit, debit card or by using PayPal. We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, as well as Maestro, Visa Electron and Visa Debit cards.

To protect credit and debit cardholders, all payments are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa or American Express SafeKey) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.

Once your order has been processed on our system, and to ensure complete safety is maintained, any card details are completely destroyed leaving us to only see your order, your address and delivery details. At no time are your card details stored by us.

Credit card security

Here at For Outdoors we take the security of all our customers' details and credit/debit card details very seriously which is why when you order from us either online or by telephone, you can do so in the knowledge that your transaction is being completed totally safely and securely.

We want you to shop online with confidence.

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 256-bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Depending on your browser, you will see a different confirmation that your connection is secure, but for the most common browsers, you will see a green closed padlock at the top of your screen.

In order to validate orders we may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.

Mis-pricing

Despite our best efforts, items in our online shop may occasionally be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our order checking procedures and if an item's correct price is lower than the price shown online, we will charge you the lower amount and send you the item. If the item's correct price is higher than the price shown online, we will contact you for instructions before confirming your order.

Stock availability

Product availability and a rough time frame for delivery of your order will be confirmed upon receipt of order.

If we are unable to deliver an item we shall cancel the item from your order immediately and let you know by phone or email. If we are unable to deliver an item to you in a timely manner, as stated within our delivery policy, we will telephone or email you with the option to cancel your order if you so wish.

Delivery policy and costs

  • Delivery Address

    Goods will be delivered, by our appointed carrier, to the address given by you on the order form. It is important that this address is accurate.

    In most instances, the parcel will not be left without a signature. If you request for your delivery to be left somewhere without a signature, then this is done at your own risk. We will not be liable for the theft/loss of your package. In this event, please provide a delivery address where the parcel can be signed for between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

    If more convenient, we can arrange your delivery to your place of work.

    We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery, or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier.

    Despatching Your Order

    Here at For Outdoors we pride ourselves on our despatching your orders as soon as possible. This depends on your payment method and stock availability and will vary accordingly. Depending on what you order, and the time of the day you place your order depends on when it will be despatched.

    Purchases may be sent in more than one delivery dependent on the products you have ordered. Some of our products will be distributed directly from the manufacturer.

    Orders placed after 2.00pm Monday - Thursday will be processed the next day. Orders placed after 2.00pm on a Friday or at a weekend will be processed on the Monday.

    Damaged Goods on Delivery

    Whilst every effort is made to deliver your order in a first-class condition, occasionally damage may occur during transit.

    It is the responsibility of the person receiving the goods to check that all parts of the shipment are counted for and checked for damage before signing to accept delivery. If any packaging appears damaged, please check that the contents are not damaged, then note the damage on the delivery note before signing.

    For Outdoors will not be held responsible if any damage is reported to us after the delivery has been signed for, and if the delivery note does not have any damage notes recorded on it.

    Once the goods have been inspected and any damage identified, please notify our customer services of the damage either by telephone on 0800 246 5801 or by sending an email ASAP with photos of the damage to: support@foroutdoors.co.uk. Please keep all shipping materials for inspection by the carrier.

    This must be done within 48 hours of receiving your goods.

    All prices shown on this website are inclusive of delivery to Mainland England, Wales and Scotland (except for the Scottish Highlands and Islands). Additional carriage charges apply to delivery areas outside of these areas.

      For some products, deliveries through the high season and over bank holiday periods may take longer.

      You will be advised of a more accurate delivery time once your order has been placed.

      Delivery Information - Gazebos

      We do our utmost to manufacture and deliver your wooden garden gazebo as quickly as possible. Normal Delivery is up to 28 days from receipt of payment. Special orders may take longer to fulfil.

      Please note: Delivery times will vary during the course of the year depending on which season you order in. Please allow between 6 - 8 weeks for delivery during our busiest months (April, May, June, July and August). Every effort will of course be made to deliver sooner.

      You will be advised of a more accurate delivery time once your order has been placed.

      As this is a large item, cost of delivery is dependant on the delivery address. Please see the list attached for delivery costs.

Warranty

What our Warranty Covers

All of our products are supplied with a 1 year (return-to-base) warranty unless otherwise specified.

If for some unfortunate reason you do encounter a problem with your product then please in the first instance contact our customer support team on 0800 246 5801 or by emailing them at support@foroutdoors.co.uk together with any pictures, and our customer support team will do everything they can to help resolve your problem.

  • Gazebo Warranty

    Overview

    If you find a defect in the material or workmanship in any part or component, For Outdoors will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge. "Defects", as used in this guarantee, are defined as imperfection in material or workmanship that will impair the use of the product.

    Under this guarantee we are unable to exchange goods that have been treated, painted or modified in any way or bespoke items. In these cases, we would repair any damage covered by the guarantee.

    Gazebos

    We warrant our gazebos, including timber, solid canopies and stainless steel brackets and fixings for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery.

    Gazebo Side panels

    We warrant our side panels for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery.

    Gazebo Canopies and side panels with transparent panels

    We provide a manufacturers guarantee for canopies and side panels with transparent panels for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.

    Go-Kart Warranty

    Overview

    Our warranties for our go-karts are supplier-specific for which you will find further details below:

    DINO Go Karts

    All DINO go-karts come with a two-year guarantee on the parts and a five-year guarantee on the frame.

    Any other DINO products warranties are specified on our website along with every product description.

    In the unusual case of a problem or fault developing in your go-kart, the discretion of what works (repair or replacement of go-kart) lies with the UK Importer of these go-karts and whilst they will do everything to help resolve the situation - and this might mean your go-kart having to be returned for inspection.

    Service and Spare Parts

    If something does happen to break or needs replacing outside of your guarantee period, spare parts are available separately for a long time after purchase. Dino ensures all its dealers are fully supported with parts back up service with parts shipped all over the world to keep our owners running smoothly.     BERG Go Karts

    All BERG go-karts come with a two-year guarantee on the parts and a five-year guarantee on the frame.

    Any other BERG products warranties are specified on our website along with every product description.

    In the unusual case of a problem or fault developing in your go-kart, the discretion of what works (repair or replacement of go-kart) lies with the one of the UK BERG Service Dealer. Whilst they will do everything to help resolve the situation - and this might mean your go-kart having to be returned for inspection.

    Service and Spare Parts

    If something does happen to break or needs replacing outside of your guarantee period, spare parts are available separately for a long time after purchase. You can order these from the BERG Service Dealer. In most cases, you will easily be able to replace a broken part yourself. Would you prefer to have it done by a specialist? Then leave it to the BERG Service Dealer.

    Wooden Go-Karts

    Our wooden go-karts carry a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and manufacture. In the unusual case of a problem or fault developing in your go-kart, the discretion of what works are needed (repair or replacement of the go-kart) lies with us. Whilst we will do everything to help resolve the situation, this might mean you having to return your go-kart for inspection.

    Please note that For Outdoors will not accept any returns that have been painted or vanished, unless faulty.

    Service and Spare Parts

    If something does happen to break or needs replacing outside of your guarantee period, spare parts are available separately.

Returns & cancellation

Having chosen all our products with great care for quality and value for money, we hope and aim for you being completely 100% satisfied with your purchase from For Outdoors. We understand that sometimes you might just want to simply change or cancel your order and therefore we have made our returns and cancellation process as simple as possible.

We just ask that you send your purchase back within 14 days of receipt of goods with proof of purchase, making sure it's unused and as good as new in its original packaging.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession.

You can notify us by logging in to My Account, e-mailing us at support@foroutdoors.co.uk, or by telephoning us on 0800 246 5801 to discuss your returns (we can help to make shipping arrangements for you) and where further details on your returns will be given. In either case please quote the order number that was supplied to you.

You are required to pay for all return carriage costs.

Once a refund has been agreed, you are then responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage of the product when returning the goods, so you should make sure that you take out enough insurance to cover their value.

General terms & conditions

  • Risk and title

    The Products will be your responsibility from the time of delivery.

    Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

    Written communications

    Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

    Events outside our control

    We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

    Our performance will be deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

    Severability

    If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms and conditions or any provisions of an order are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    Entire agreement

    These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them constitute the whole agreement between us and supersede all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, previous arrangement, understanding or agreement between us relating to the subject matter of any order.

    We each acknowledge that, in entering into an order, neither of us relies on any representation or guarantees (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these terms and conditions or the documents referred to in them.

    Each of us agrees that our only liability in respect of those representations and warranties that are set out in this agreement (whether made innocently or negligently) will be for breach of contract.

    Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any liability for fraud.

    Our right to vary these terms and conditions

    We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Order Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Products).

    Third party rights

    A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions or an Order shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

    Intellectual title

    The content of our website including without limitation all information, software, data, text, photographs, graphics, sound and video are protected by copyright, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights. Except insofar as expressly permitted in these terms and conditions, the content of this website may not be retrieved, displayed, modified, copied, printed, sold, downloaded, sold, hired, reverse engineered or transmitted in any way without our prior written consent.
